Grand Opening = Great Fun

Yesterday was Mommy's Grand Opening of her new Amway business which means I got to see all kinds of people! I spent a long time with Daddy while Mommy did her business thing. I saw Grandpa Thomas, who carried me around so proudly, saw Auntie Lynn, who told me how much she missed me, and I had nice long conversations with both Grandma Harrington and Grandma Thomas. I even got to meet my cousin McKenzie for the first time. After such a long day, we got back home and it was time to crash, for everyone!

Today was just a lazy day, a recovery day. Eat, play, nap. Me and Daddy played for awhile and watched the Emperor's New Groove and then got down on the floor and rolled from one side to the other. I like that game. I also continued to communicate through shrieks and squawks but Mommy and Daddy are trying to get me back to using vowels and consonants (ohhh, ahhh, ba, and ah-goo).

To Catch up...

My name is Nicholas, Nicky for short. Since this is my first entry I guess I should catch up. I am 16 weeks old today. It seems like these first 16 weeks have just flown by! When I was born I was 7lbs 3oz and as of two days ago at group, I was 12lbs 14oz.

I am a happy, giggly, talkative little angel, that's what Mommy says. I love my changing table, my room, my stuffed elephants and lions, and getting lots of hugs. I sit up really well with very little support and I have rolled over both ways once each. I do NOT like tummy time and I am making Mommy think that I could skip crawling all together and go straight to walking. I sleep well at night, usually from 9pm to 7am straight. I enjoy my swing, my bumbo seat, my exersaucer, and going for strolls in the park and at the beach. I also love hanging out with my friends from group and my cousins as well as my self proclaimed favorite aunt. Well, I will catch up a little more in future posts. Time to start another busy day :)
