The 4 month dr appt

Today I woke up at 6am! Time to eat and then play. Mommy had a lot of housework to do so I played on the floor and watched some tv as she did chores and checked in on me. Then I took a long nap on the floor. I was really good for Mommy and she thanked me when I woke up. Then it was time to get ready to go meet Aunt Lynn and the boys at Babies R Us but they were running late so Mommy and I stopped in at Home Depot to decide what we were going to get Daddy for Father's Day. We got everything picked out after we talked to this nice lady that worked there but we are going to go pick it up in a few days so Daddy gets surprised. Then we got to Babies R Us and helped Lynn pick a crib out for their new place at the grandparent's house. Mommy also got me a bunch of things including a new giraffe rattle which is really cool. I can almost get the whole leg in my mouth. After a bunch of shopping it was back to the house to get some food and wait for Daddy to get home so we could get to my doctor's appointment. The three of us got in the car and headed to the doctor. I was having such a good day. I was giggly and smiling at everyone. And when I weighed in I was 13 lbs 13 oz and 24 3/4" long and was somewhere between 25 and 50 percentile for all of my measurements. I was told that I was growing just right. Mommy said I am perfect. Then the bad thing happened :( Mommy held my hands and kissed my head as Dr. Sharma gave me two shots. I cried but the nurse gave me one more vaccine, this one was oral and it was sweet so it wasn't bad. Then Mommy calmed me down pretty quickly and nursed me. I just wanted to go to sleep but I had to get put back in my car seat so we could go home. I was really fussy at this point but we got home and I napped for a while then woke up, took some Tylenol and Mommy finally got me back to sleep. Hopefully I will get a full night sleep and hopefully I will be back to normal tomorrow.
