Sept 14 - I woke up at about 5:30am. Mommy and I just went out to the family room and started our day early. I played and ate and then Mommy got me dressed because today was the first day of story time at the Prince Frederick library. So we got in the car and headed to story time. When we got there we saw a bunch of kids ranging in age from a few months old to almost 2 years old. Spike and AJ were there too. I know them from group. There are two librarians leading the group and we sang songs and played with egg shakers and read stories. It was fun. I also crawled around the room, the librarians said they didn't mind. Story time is only 20 mins so after that Mommy and I stayed in the kids section of the library where they have the coolest busy box ever! I stood up on it and played with it for a while. Sam and Ms. Erin got there around that time (they were late for story time because Sam was napping). I also met a new friend, Noah. And I also played with an older kid on the boat they have in the kids section. After all that playing, I told Mommy that I was getting tired and that it was already past my nap time so we packed up and headed home.
We stopped at Subway to get Mommy some food. While we were there we saw a Maryland State Trooper. I kept staring at him. I really liked his hat! He smiled at us.
We got home and I got a nap and then played some more and then napped some more and then Daddy got home. I was so happy to see Daddy. We played together while Mommy left to run some errands. Daddy put me up on the couch and let me crawl around up there. I was standing on the back of the couch and sat on Apollo. He also took me into his room and let me play with the big mirror they have in there. And we played peek-a-boo in the pack n' play. When Mommy got home, she was shocked to find that I didn't take my third nap since I was too busy playing with Daddy. She saw how tired I was and put me down for a nap but I was so tired that I was down for the night. It was only 6:30pm! Oh well, when you are tired, you are tired.
