My first experience with snow

Dec 18 - I woke up at 8am this morning. I got up and ate breakfast and played and then was right back in my crib for my nap at about 10am. Mommy tells me that I am one great little boy. I slept for about an hour and a half and woke up hungry. After Mommy dressed me in this dorky blue outfit that I will never wear again since it is 1) so dorky and 2) very impractical for diaper changes since it has buttons instead of snaps, we had lunch. Then Mommy dressed me in my snow suit and said that it was time to let me play in the snow.

There wasn't much snow left on the ground from Thursday's snowfall but it was enough to get the gist. First, Mommy put me down on the edge of the snow. I was so hesitant to sit so I just stood there where Mommy put me for the longest time just looking at the snow. I finally got a little tired of standing and sat down. I started playing with the pine needles that weren't covered by the snow first. Mommy decided it would be better to pick me up and move me to the middle of the snow. I touched it a little and kept wondering what this really cold white stuff was. Mommy made a little snow tower in front of me and I touched that. I really wasn't having fun but I wasn't hating it either. But when she tipped me back so that I could lay down in the snow I lost it. That was the time that Mommy said that I had enough and brought me back inside.

Once we were back inside I got to play a bit with Apollo. When Daddy got home he went straight to sleep since he is sick. While he was sleeping Mommy let me play with my car. She made it into a walker and I went to town. I went all over the house with it, banging into walls and everything. Mommy was really proud. When Daddy woke up I showed him what I could do with it and he said that he was happy to see me take an interest in mowing the lawn. Silly Daddy. After dinner and a little more play I went to bed at 8:30pm.
