Aug 24 - Today Mommy and I went to a new pool with the neighbors Donna and Dan. This pool is the best! It is an indoor pool that has a really big kiddie pool. You enter at this ramp that has geysers of water shoot up. Mommy held me over one so I could feel it. It made me laugh. Then I tried to grab it. We got farther into the water and there were water slides, but I am not big enough for those yet. We also saw this big tree in the water that has buckets at the top of it. When the buckets fill with water they tip over on anyone standing under them and I got to see Dan and Mommy get splashed. They also have this giant snake in the middle of the pool. Mommy let me sit on it. The kiddie pool is fantastic.
This place also has a therapy pool. It is this great place that people can work out in the water. It has parallel bars and you can use dumbbells that float. It was too cool. After the pool I was really tired. Daddy came and got me out of the car and we played together for a little while. Mommy gave me the crawl ball that Grandmommy got me and I really liked it. At first, I was like how is the ball moving by itself? But then I thought it was really cool and I liked all the different buttons to push. Good job, Grandmommy!
I liked it so much, I didn't want to go to sleep when I was supposed to. Mommy tried to get me to go to sleep for almost 2 hrs but I wanted to play even though I was really getting tired. So at about 10pm Mommy decided that it was time to put me in my crib. I gave her the saddest face ever to try and get her to change her mind and pick me back up but she told me goodnight and closed the door. I proceeded to scream for about a half an hour until I finally gave up and went to sleep. She is tough.
