Bifecta - park and pool!

July 1 - Today was a really busy day! After breakfast Mommy and I went to the park to meet Ms. Erin and Sam. We hung out on a nice big blanket as we watched the older kids run around the playground. Sam and I played for a couple of hours and then Mommy and I went home to get ready for the pool. I fell asleep during the short trip home and slept in my car seat while Mommy got all the stuff for the pool. I woke up for a few minutes as she put me back in the car but I was back to sleep in no time.

I woke up once we got there and Mommy walked me around the pool in the stroller. She told me all about when she was a little girl and was there everyday during the summer. Then Aunt Lynn, Aidan, and Gavin got there and after we all had lunch we got in the baby pool. I had a good time with Mommy and even kicked under the water and smiled this time. Grandma and Granddad came to see me in the water too! Then it was time to get out and I went to Grandma. I got her all wet.

Then I started to get fussy and then to full blown cranky! Mommy doesn't usually see me like that cause I usually save that for Daddy but come on, Mom, I missed a nap! So Grandma took me back and held me close and I was asleep in no time. While I was catching up on some zzzzzs, Mommy got in the big pool with Lynn, Aidan, Gavin and Uncle Sean came over too. Once I woke up I felt much better and gave Mommy a smile to tell her it was all okay now. I watched her in the pool for a little bit then it was time to gather everything up and come home. I took a shower with Daddy and then was ready for bed. I was asleep by 8:10 with no argument from me! The end to a long day.
