Pool party at Aunt Kati's house

Today was so much fun. This morning Mommy got me all ready for the pool and we were off to pick up Aunt Lynn and the boys cause we were going swimming. We got everyone into the van and headed up to Aunt Kati's house. The ride up was really nice. Gavin and I slept the whole way up there. Once we got there, Kasey and Haley greeted us and helped bring all our stuff around back. Mommy set up the blanket under the deck so I could be in the shade when I laid down. So she started to get me ready on the blanket and I flipped over to my belly and got up on my knees! Then I started to kind of hop forward a little bit! Mommy and Aunt Kati were impressed. Aunt Kati told Mommy that her life will never be the same.

Then Mommy and I got in the pool. It was cold at first and took me a little while to get used to the water. I started in my floaty. Then Mommy decided to hold me instead and that is when I got ready to play. I started to kick and jumped on Mommy's stomach and she kept lifting me up in the air. Ryan made me laugh by showing me the underwater version of peek-a-boo. He would hold his breath and then come up and say BOO. Aunt Kati held me in the water for a little while too. Oh! It was so much fun. We got out for a little while to eat but got back in. Aidan and Gavin had a terrific time too. I even got to see Uncle Mike for a few minutes. And Kasey and Haley took turns holding me. Kasey was really nice to me. She told me that I was the cutest baby ever but then Haley reminded her about Kenzie. That is ok, I can share the title. After all that activity I had to take a nap. So I slept on the blanket for a while after Aunt Kati got me to sleep. Once I woke up it was time to get going. Since I just took a nap I didn't sleep in the car but Gavin and Aidan sure did. I was a bit cranky cause I was hungry but Mommy had to drive so Aunt Lynn tried to keep me company for a little while. Mommy drove us home so I could eat and Daddy was nice enough to drive Aunt Lynn and the boys back to their house. After eating I showed Daddy what I could do on the blanket now. Of course he was impressed too. Then I got in the jumper while Mommy cooked dinner. I jumped really high! Mommy told me that I am getting so strong. It wasn't much longer that I was really ready for bed. I was in the crib by 8pm cause I was pooped. Hehe No pun intended.
