Happy Birthday Aunt Lynn

Today I woke up and got myself moving a lot in my crib. I scooted myself all the way to the point that my legs were sticking out of the crib when Mommy came and found me. I think I have this scooting backwards thing down, now to start on the forwards direction.

That nice lady Bridget came to clean the house today. She talked to me and held me for a little while. I showed her how mobile I am now on the floor.

And since it is Wednesday, it was group day! Mommy weighed me and couldn't believe it. I was 14lbs 9oz! I gained 9oz in one week! Maybe I am a piggy after all. So everyone knows how much I love group. I show off all the time and that is the place I do all my firsts. Today was not different. Last week was the first time I scooted backwards. This week, I scooted forward. And I also was able to pull my knees up as I was doing a push up so I was on all 4's. As soon as I get my arms a little bit stronger I am going to be crawling and then WATCH OUT! Everyone was so impressed and Betty told Mommy that I am doing this so early. I like it when everyone is watching me.

After group and that crazy workout I was exhausted so Mommy let me sleep in the van. She hung out with me, of course. When I woke up it was time for a quick change and then off to Chachi's house to celebrate Aunt Lynn's birthday. Aunt Lynn was teasing Mommy about giving me icing but Mommy wasn't ready for that one. I played with Aidan. Lynn's sister was holding me above Aidan and I would kick him in the head. Aidan and I laughed and laughed which made everyone else laugh too. I even did really well with Chachi tonight. No crying or anything and he held me for a long time. That made Chachi feel a lot better. We were having such a good time that we stayed there till after my bedtime. I wasn't being fussy buy Mommy knew it wouldn't be long so we packed up and headed home. She was right, I went into full meltdown mode in the van on the way home. Glad we don't live very far away. We got home, changed for bed, had dinner, and then it all went black.
