One cold, wet, snowy day

Jan 26 - This morning I woke up a little after 9:30am. I was worn out by the pool yesterday. When I woke up I started to play with my Elmo remote in the crib and called out to Mommy. She came and got me and I was pleasantly surprised by Ms. Bridget too. Mommy got me changed and dressed and then got me fed. We played for a little while and Ms. Bridget was so happy to see me walking around so well.

Then it was time to get moving. Mommy had a bunch of things she wanted to get done today. So we started by packing the car with trash. Our first stop was to see the nice guy at PNC so that Mommy could put a check in the bank. Then we went to the dump. Then stopped at Ace Hardware for some lightbulbs. Then down to the community center to pay the $25 room rental for my birthday party. Lastly, we got to the hospital for group. Mommy fed me lunch in the car.

It was a rainy and miserable day so Mommy and I weren't surprised when we got to group and there was no one there. We started talking to Betty and after a little while a new mom and her 5 week old came in. Ms. Betty had to get back to what she was doing and asked mommy to show her how to use the scale. Then another new mom came in with a 2 week old. Mommy showed them what to do and what group is usually like since none of our "regulars" were there due to the weather. I thought the babies were interesting but I thought their colorful changing pad and blankets were more interesting, of course. The new moms were really nice as they let me investigate their colorful things. I weighed in at 17lbs 11oz. Not much of a gain but its something. I started to get tired and told Mommy it was time to go. It was a good thing too because on the way home it was snowing and thundering. Such weird weather.

We got home and Mommy put me to bed. I slept for a while. Daddy was home when I woke up. Daddy was supposed to have school tonight but school was closed due to the weather. Unfortunately, no one told him and it wasn't on the radio until after he showed up at the school. He wasn't in the best of moods but when I saw him I made it all better. We watched tv together and ended up getting some really good play time. I love my Daddy.

I played with my drum a lot this evening. I love turning it on and switching the different settings but my new favorite thing is to pick it up and carry it around the room. It is still a little heavy but its fun.

The electricity flickered a few times but never went out. That's a good thing. I have started to get back into my normal bedtime routine too now that my naps have returned. I was in bed around 8:30pm.

Pooltime with Daddy

Jan 25 - Woke up this morning around 8:30am. Mommy was already dressed and told me we had to rush to get to story time. She told me the plan was to go to story time and then afterward go to Sam's house and hang out with him while his mommy goes to the dentist. So we dressed and ran out of the house. We got to storytime and listened all about Sleepytime. The librarians read a few books and we did our usual songs. I got off Mommy's lap at one point and walked over to the center of the room to listen to one of the stories. Ms. Cynthia, the librarian, actually pointed out that I was walking and that she hadn't seen me walk.

After story time we hung out for a little while. Ms. Dana was taking care of both Caylee and Noah today because Ms. Andrea had a doctor's appointment. There were a lot of people waiting for the next story time and I walked around and got lost in the sea of people. I couldn't find Mommy but see could see that I looked nervous all of a sudden and asked "Are you looking for me?" I put my arms up for her to pick me up. About the same time, Caylee started to have a meltdown so Ms. Dana said they were going to go. Ms. Erin and Sam were ready to leave too. Mommy and I had to return some books and check out new ones so we said we would meet Ms. Erin and Sam at their house.

We actually managed to get to Sam's house first. We all went inside and while Ms. Erin changed Sam I finally had breakfast. I was getting very hungry. Ms. Erin said goodbye and Sam and I got to playing. We shared our snacks and watched a little tv. Every time one of us picked up a toy the other one had to have it. Mommy did a good job regulating though. Sam has some very cool toys too. Ms. Erin got back pretty quickly. We stayed for lunch and Mommy and Ms. Erin had chicken sandwiches while Sam and I had nuggets. It was getting later and Mommy wanted to get me home for a nap so we said goodbye and headed home.

I know that I have been giving Mommy some trouble with naps recently but I was really tired and actually went down relatively easily today. I ended up sleeping for an hour and twenty minutes which is the most napping I have done in four days combined. Mommy was relieved.

When I woke up Daddy was home. We got to play quite a bit before Daddy said he needed to take a nap. Mommy and I continued to play. She rolled around with me on the carpet and then chased me. I laughed so hard I would fall over. She had to catch me head once as I laughed so hard I fell backwards. Uncle Sean came for a visit. He dropped off the van that he borrowed for a couple of days. He and Mommy talked a little while as we waited for Daddy to wake up from his nap.

Once Daddy woke up we got all packed up for the pool. Daddy and I were going to hang out in the kiddie pool while Mommy did her aerobics class. We dropped Uncle Sean off at his house and drove to the pool. When we got there they told us the kiddie pool was closed but we could hang out in the therapy pool. So we all got dressed in the family changing room and Mommy showed Daddy where the therapy pool was since it was his first time there. Daddy and I hung out for a while in that nice warm relaxing pool. We practiced kicking in the water (I am good at the froggie kick). I walked along the bench in the water holding on to the edge of the pool. At one point I got really excited and Daddy got embarrassed. He thought I was being too loud for all the old people. Hehe. When class was over Mommy and Aunt Lynn came over. Mommy got in the water and played around with me for a few minutes. Aunt Lynn just talked to me from outside the pool and then picked me out of the pool to give me a hug. We didn't stay much longer after that. We all got dressed in the changing room and headed home. I was exhausted! But I had to take a bath first to get the chlorine off me. But then I got into my pjs and was asleep at 9:30pm.

A happier day

Jan 24 - This morning I woke up and started playing with my Elmo remote. Mommy heard me and grabbed the camera. She said it was funny to hear the remote through the baby monitor.

We had breakfast and then started playing. I have been very clingy in the last couple of days. I have come over to Mommy and grabbed her pants leg. I have also fussed a lot. But today I was my old happy self. I went off on my own and played with my toys. Mommy was relieved. She has been worried that her easy going, happy baby is turning into a hyper, emotional, out of control toddler so it was nice to have a day that I was happy again. She would come over and play with me for a while and then go back to cleaning. She cleaned the family room and I chased the vacuum cleaner. She did the dishes and I helped her put away the dishes by picking up a plate from the dishwasher. She grabbed it so fast like she thought I was going to drop it. She did all the laundry. And I followed her back to the bedrooms and watched while she vacuumed those rooms too. She did a very good job.

And at 1pm she told me that she wasn't going to give up on me napping in my crib so she put me in the crib and told me to go to sleep. I cried for her for what seemed like forever. But I did fall asleep for a whole 20 mins. She came and got me and we continued cleaning.

For lunch Mommy gave me chicken fingers. They are long, thin, breaded chicken sticks and I loved them. I am having so much fun trying new things recently.

At about 5:30pm I rubbed my eyes again and Mommy jumped at the sign. She rushed me back to the crib. As soon as I saw the nightlight go on, I started to cry. Mommy said that I was tired, told me she loved me, gave me a kiss and left the room. I cried for a little while again but ended up sleeping 30 mins this time. At least its something, she said when she came to get me.

Mommy started on dinner - it was taco night. Daddy got home from school a little early and they talked. Daddy said that I seemed happier today. I played with Daddy on the floor. We rolled around and I played with his hat. Mommy and Daddy said that I looked super cute in my big boy pjs. I stayed up til 10pm and then went to sleep with my Elmo remote again. If it works, keep doing it, right?

Massage helper

Jan 23 - I woke up this morning crying. I don't often do that but I just really wanted Mommy. She came and got me and we stayed in my room a little longer than usual since Kasey was still sleeping on the couch. When we heard Daddy and the doggies get up we came out of my room to see them. One of the doggies had woken Kasey up so it was time to start our day.

I got to have breakfast right away but everyone else had to wait. Kasey was told that she had a homework assignment to do on the computer so she had to complete that before we could go out for breakfast. Mommy played on the Wii for a little while and then helped Kasey type for assignment. While they were doing that I played on my own but would come over and check on them and see if Mommy would let me type on the keyboard too. She wouldn't.

We all got dressed and hopped in the van and went to Bob Evans. I got my own pancake platter off the kids menu. It was 5 silver dollar pancakes and they were yummy. Daddy also gave me a piece of his biscuit. I had fun banging on the glass partition that separated us from the table next to us. I played with one of my telephones and thought it was so cool when Mommy spun it around on the table. I was a little louder than Mommy and Daddy would have liked but at least they were happy sounds not angry sounds. Daddy and I didn't finish all of our food so we took it to go for later.

I wanted to sleep on the way home but Mommy wouldn't let me. She wanted me to get a full nap in my crib. Something that I haven't really done for a couple of days. We got home and I wasn't really tired anymore. I played on the floor while Kasey and Mommy played Donkey Kong again. Then Mommy and Kasey packed up and Kasey said goodbye to me because it was time for her to meet her parents and go home. As they were leaving, Daddy put me in the crib for a nap.

I napped for about 20 mins. Daddy was really shocked. He brought me out to the family room and let me play. Mommy was also shocked to see me awake when she got back. She asked me why I don't like to nap anymore? I dunno.

The rest of the day we spent in the house. I snacked on my pancakes the rest of the day as well as goldfish, cheerios chex mix, puffs, and what ever else I could get Mommy to feed me. That evening I wasn't acting tired at all. Mommy and Daddy usually do "Sunday Massages" I am just usually asleep for them. This time I wasn't. Mommy laid down on the floor and Daddy massaged her back. I wanted to help so I pushed on her back too. And instead of using lotion like Daddy, I just drooled on her. They both laughed. I got tired before it was Daddy's turn so Mommy put me in the crib. She gave me my Elmo remote to play with a little before going to sleep. I liked that. After I was done playing I just fell asleep.

Kasey comes for a visit

Jan 22 - Today we woke up, had breakfast, and jumped in the car because we were going to have a visitor. We drove up to Aunt Kati and Uncle Mike's house. They weren't home yet from Kasey's basketball game so it gave us a few minutes to have a snack in the car. They got there by the time we were done.

We went inside and said hello to everyone and then I walked over to the sliding glass door and said hello to their new puppy. Ryan let him inside and the puppy was really excited to see me. She licked my face. I watched as Ryan and Aunt Kati threw a tennis ball for her and then they gave it to me to throw. It took me a few times to understand what they wanted but I started to drop it for her. Kasey came downstairs after taking a shower and then Haley and Kasey wanted to show us their newly painted rooms. So we went upstairs and I got to see Kasey's poke-a-dots and Haley's room is a pretty purple with poke-a-dots to come. Then we said good bye to everyone and Kasey came with us. She isn't big enough to sit up front yet so she kept me company in the back seat. It was nice to have company.

We decided to stop in Bowie at Applebees for lunch. Kasey had a mega huge steak and Mommy had a sandwhich. I had a grilled cheese off the kids menu and a couple of Mommy's fries. I didn't eat much but I liked it.

I was getting tired so we all rushed home so I could take a nap. Well, I had another plan. Mommy put me in the crib and I cried a lot again. I finally fell asleep for a few minutes but the dogs barked and woke me up. I never got back to sleep after that. Mommy came and got me and I watched as Mommy and Kasey played Donkey Kong on the Wii and then Wii Fit.

Because I didn't get much of a nap I was pretty cranky the rest of the day. And since I was being cranky we didn't go anywhere else even though Kasey and Mommy wanted to. We just sat at home and played. To try to make me feel better Kasey pushed me around in my bike. I had fun but as soon as we were done I was cranky again. I still was really tired.

For dinner I finished my grilled cheese. It was fantastic! Then it was time for a bath so Mommy undressed me and put me in the tub. Then...Oops! I had an accident in the bath tub. But since Mommy, Daddy and Kasey all thought it was funny I guess it wasn't a big problem. Mommy picked me up and gave me to Daddy to wrap up in a towel while she cleaned the tub and refilled it. Then I got my bath and got all lotioned, dressed and warm. I played a little while longer but finally said goodnight at about 9pm.

Non sleeping baby

Jan 21 - Today Mommy and I decided to stay home and hang out. I was a little clingy today and didn't want Mommy to go too far. And when Mommy put me in my crib for a nap I lost it! I screamed Mommy don't go and threw a fit. It was not pretty. After my meltdown Mommy got me from my crib and I was really not letting her go now. She was really happy to see Daddy when he got home from work.

Daddy wasn't doing all that great today either. He has a toothache and needs to go visit cousin Chris, the dentist. But Daddy hung out with me and played the Wii while Mommy did a test cake of my Cat in the Hat cake. It looked so yummy but Mommy wouldn't let me have any. She told me that I have to wait another couple of weeks. Oh, well.

Even though I never really had a nap today I still stayed up after 9pm and cried when Mommy laid me in my crib. I haven't done that for a while but after a few minutes I calmed down and went to sleep.

Jan 20 - Today we started our day slowly. We ate breakfast and played and then I took a nap around 11am. Mommy came and got me from my nap a little early because we had plans to meet Aunt Lynn, Aidan and Gavin for lunch at IHOP. When we got there I was surprised to see Uncle Sean too. His truck is in the shop so he didn't go to work. So the six of us sat at the table. Gavin and I sat in our highchairs next to each other and we shared toys and Mommy fed us puffs while waiting for our food. Mommy didn't order me anything but I got to try some ham and pancake from her plate. It was yummy.

After lunch Uncle Sean took Aidan and Gavin home for naps while Mommy, Aunt Lynn and I went back to our house. Mommy and Aunt Lynn started to go over a few ideas for my birthday party and I was pretty good about leaving them alone and playing even though I would come over to check things out every now and then. Aunt Lynn stayed for a few hours and then I stayed with Daddy while Mommy took Aunt Lynn home. Daddy played the Wii for me while she was gone.

When Mommy got back she played with me some more and then it was time for Mommy to leave again and go to water aerobics. I spent most of the time playing around. I did have a little spill though. I was trying to climb the green box and slipped and fell and bumped my head. Daddy made it feel better though. Daddy also fed me dinner and he let me eat without a bib and I made a big mess all over myself. It was fun. Mommy came home and saw how messy I was and told me it was bathtime. After the bath we played a little longer until it was time for bed.

One unhappy little boy

Jan 19 - This morning I woke up around 8am. After breakfast and a little playtime it was back in the crib for a morning nap. When I woke up the house was all clean. Mommy must have been a busy little bee while I was sleeping.

After lunch it was time to get moving. Mommy had already packed the van with the trash to make a stop at the dump on our way to group. When we got to group Ms. Tara and James were already there. Then Ms. Jessica and Violet and Ms. Rhonda and Hunter joined us. I was walking all over the place and inspired Violet to try walking too. We all shared our toys with each other and had a great time playing with one another. I weighed in at 17lbs 10oz and am getting bigger and bigger.

James and I turn one just one week apart from each other. His party is the Saturday before my party so Mommy and Ms. Tara decided to go check out the party store in Dunkirk together. We met in the parking lot. I had fallen asleep in the van on the way there and wasn't the happiest about waking up but once we got inside and started looking around I was in a better mood. Mommy gave me this cool little blue shaker to hold while we looked around. It made me so happy. We didn't buy anything this time but had fun looking around. Then the four of us walked over to Giant. James and Ms. Tara grabbed a few things from the baby aisle and said goodbye while Mommy and I had to stay and finished our shopping trip.

Then we came home. I was having fun walking around and Mommy had given me a sippy cup to try. I lost my balance and fell hitting my mouth on my sippy cup then rolling and hitting my head on the floor. Ouch! Mommy picked me up and tried to comfort me but it hurt a lot. She then tried to nurse me and that made me feel better but then she decided it would be a good time to try to cut my nails. I didn't want her to and kept pulling my hand away. Mommy told me no and I screamed back at her. Finally she scolded me and I stopped pulling away even though I screamed the entire time she cut my fingernails and toenails. She then told me I could go and put me down on the floor. I stood by her legs just screaming at her. Then she got up to go cook dinner. I followed her into the kitchen to continue screaming at her. She told me that since she was going to be using the oven and didn't want to have to worry about me getting hurt she was going to put me in my pack n play. This did not make me happy. I screamed and screamed until I had to catch my breath. Then Mommy came and got me from the pack n play and held me for a little while. I stopped crying but was still breathing hard for a while.

By the time Daddy got home from school I was in a much better mood. I ran over to him and said hi. Then it was a little more play time before going to bed at 9:45pm.

Happy meal

Jan 18 - Today was supposed to be everything back to normal. Daddy went to work. Mommy and I woke up around 8am and had breakfast, got dressed and hopped in the car. It was covered in ice so as I sat in the warm car Mommy tried to scrape off the ice. Well, the ice was so thick that it broke her ice scraper! We were already running a little late for story time and it was going to take forever for the car to melt so we left it running and went next door to Ms. Donna's house. We hand delivered my birthday invitation. Ms. Donna said that she will be there. Then we played a little. I crawled all over the floor and Ms. Donna showed me her birds. We went downstairs to look at all the work she is getting done to her house. Then we watched Mocha play with one of her toys. After a while we said goodbye.

Mommy and I went to the post office to buy more stamps and mail the invitations. Then we called Grandmommy. She told Mommy that she was at Granddaddy's school working on stuff together since school was canceled for the kids due to ice. So we decided to pay them a little surprise visit since we did not want to go back home and spend another day inside. When we got to the school Grandmommy was really happy to see us. I showed her that I am such a big boy now and can walk and stand up all by myself. She was so worried that I was going to fall but I made it all the way down the long middle school hallway. We were looking for Granddaddy. He was off making copies somewhere. Grandmommy found him while I was walking around the lobby chairs. He squatted down and told me to walk to him. I started to but then changed directions and walked to Grandmommy, hehe. They both picked me up and hugged me.

We went into the school library for a little while and I played on the red couch they had in there. Then we went back into Granddaddy's classroom. I crawled under some of the desks. I thought that was fun because they seemed like tunnels to me. Then they tried to get me to watch a little tv but I was more interested in the remote. They gave me a green froggy that came with a blanket and I played with him for a few minutes but then lost interest. I played for a little while longer but started to get a little fussy as it was getting close to nap time. So we said our goodbyes and Granddaddy walked me to the car. I fell asleep in the car.

I slept for a while. Mommy had gotten her laptop from inside the house and was playing on it waiting for me to wake up. She had also stopped by McDonalds on the way home and got chicken nuggets. So when it was time to eat lunch Mommy gave me a special treat. She pulled the outside fried part off and gave me the chicken part of the nugget. I ate 3 1/2 of them. They were yummy. I threw the other half of one on the floor and watched the doggie eat it.

I hung out with Daddy while Mommy went to water aerobics. While he was playing on the Wii I fell and busted my lip. I started to cry and Daddy just thought I was being fussy until I wiped my mouth and wiped blood all over my face! He really flipped out then. He rushed me back to the changing table and cleaned me up and then gave me a bag of ice for my lip. It looked worse than it was. I was still awake when Mommy got home. She fed me one last time and then it was bedtime.

Setting boundaries

Jan 17 - Today was another day inside. Today was MLK Jr. day so Daddy had off again. He still isn't feeling the best but he is much better. I was still kind of tired when I woke up this morning so Daddy brought my blanket out to the family room. I love my blanket. Then he wrapped me up in it and I couldn't break free. They thought that was funny but I was not amused.

I watched Daddy play on the Wii. Mommy thought it was funny because instead of sitting next to him on the floor I was standing behind Daddy and peering around him to see the tv. She called me silly.

Both Mommy and Daddy are amazed at how much better I am walking in just a matter of days. I really am not crawling as much as before and will walk around the whole house if they let me. There are places that I am not allowed to go though. I can only be in the bathroom with one of them because I open the cabinet under the sink and take big bites out of the toilet paper. I am not allowed in the pet room because I splash around in the dog water and am told it is dirty. I am not allowed in Mommy and Daddy's room if the fan is on because they say that is dangerous. And I am not even allowed in my own room sometimes because I go for my elephant nightlight and Mommy says I will break it, again. So most of the time all those doors are closed but I still find other things to play with. Like the tv! I have discovered all the buttons on the tv and like to push them. Mommy and Daddy will tell me no and move me away but I just go right back. So Mommy ruined my fun by putting tape over all the buttons so now I can't see them to push them. Sometimes they really are kill my fun.

So nothing else really exciting happened today. Just more playing, eating and sleeping. More tomorrow.

On top of the world, well, at least a box

Jan 16 - Today was Sunday and its a good thing too since Daddy still wasn't feeling great. We spent the day inside again playing together. We also watched the Caps game on tv. I have gotten so interested in hockey. When it is on tv I just sit there and stare at it. I still don't like when Mommy and Daddy yell when the Caps score. It scares me and I think they are mad at me so I cry. It takes me a while to calm down again.

I also practiced more climbing today. Daddy has a green box next to the fireplace hearth pad right now and I can get up on top of it. So I did so I could surprise Daddy while he was sitting in his computer chair. Mommy told him to turn around and there I was. Then I started to stand on the box and they got all up in arms about that and told me to get down.

Daddy helped Mommy get the invitations all done today so she can finally stop worrying about those. They will go out on Tuesday.

I ate more of my sub that I didn't finish from yesterday and threw the rest of it on the floor for the doggies.

Other than that, we just ate, napped, and played. Overall, it was a good day with Daddy and Mommy.

Daddy's Sick Day

Jan 15 - So guess what? Mommy was feeling much better today. The bad news, Daddy is now sick. So Mommy came and got me this morning and I was so happy to see her. Daddy was supposed to go to school today but didn't since he got the stomach bug. He ended up sleeping pretty much all day. Mommy had made plans with Grandma last night to come over today and help take care of me but since she was feeling so much better she didn't really need the help. Instead Grandma, Mommy and I enjoyed a nice fun visit together. We ate breakfast and played for a while. It got to be time for me to take a nap.

When I woke up Grandma was gone. Mommy told me that we had to get moving because the stomach bug put her a few days behind on party planning. So we hopped in the car and went to Waldorf. We went to Michael's first. We were looking for envelopes for the invitations to go in. We found red envelopes and cards that can be used for inserts. Then we went to AC Moore so Mommy could find some inspiration. She didn't find anything there. Then to Target where I got to play with this cool frog that sings and dances and Mommy found a Cat in the Hat game and coloring book.

As we were on our way home Mommy remembered we were supposed to go to the party store but we would go another day. We also stopped off at Subway and Mommy got me my own kid's sub. It was turkey and cheese and it came with apples and a juice box.

When we got home I ate a good deal of my sub like a big boy. I didn't like the apples and Mommy gave me a squirt of juice in my mouth but I didn't really like that either. She was just pleased that I liked the sub.

The rest of the evening Mommy tried to work on the computer but it was difficult since I wanted to play with it too. She was really getting a little frustrated because she was working on the inserts for the invitations. It was getting late anyway and so Mommy kissed me goodnight and I went to sleep at 9pm.

Mommy's Sick Day

Jan 14 - This morning I woke up really early crying. Mommy came stumbling in to get me and told me that she didn't feel too good. She was carrying her bathroom trashcan with her. She changed me and then brought me out to the family room. She fed me really quick but didn't look good at all. She decided to call Daddy. I was sitting in her lap as she made the call but she had to toss me off her lap so she could get to the trashcan. She was in really bad shape and laid on the carpet as she asked Daddy to come home and take care of me. It took him an hour to get home but once he did he took really good care of me the rest of the day as Mommy slept or laid on the couch.

Daddy played with me and all my toys. He fed me all day and he even put me down for my nap. He did such a good job and even though I still wanted to play with Mommy when she was laying on the couch I didn't really fuss for Daddy when she was asleep in her room. I'm sorry Mommy was sick but I really did have a great time with Daddy.

Mommy's old coworkers

Jan 13 - Today we went on an adventure. We headed up to Rockville to Mommy's old job. We took the van so that I could see all the cars out of the window which made the long drive a little more enjoyable. I ended up falling asleep a little before we got there. I woke up when we got there and Mommy walked me inside. I really liked the elevator.

When we got to the ninth floor we said hi to the receptionist Ms. Kathy. She must have told Mommy I am so cute like 10 times. Then we went into the conference room and saw Mr. Don, Mr. Brent, Mr. Ken, Mr. Chris and Mr. Walter. They talked for a few minutes as Mommy held me but I was bored. Then we went to visit Ms. Tiwanna. She was really nice and I showed her that I could walk.

Then we visited with Ms. Beverly and Ms. Helen. Ms. Beverly held me first, then she tried to get me to drool on Ms. Helen. Hehe, they were funny. Ms. Helen told me I could do her work for her. I was game. We said hello to a few more people on the ninth floor then headed upstairs to the tenth. We found Ms. Melissa in her new office. I liked it in there cause it was big and I got to bang on her big window. I also played with the audit bag she had under her desk.

Then it was down the hall to Mommy's old office which is now Mr. Josh's office. He was interesting. I just stared at him. Lastly, it was over to Mr. Dave's office. I banged on his air conditioner.

Then Ms. Melissa, Mr. Dave, Mr. Josh, Mommy and I got in our cars and went to lunch. We went to Fuddrucker's. I sat in my highchair and ate a little of my food. Mommy ordered me mac n cheese but I refused it. I wasn't in the mood to try anything new. I started to get a little antsy and Mommy said it was nap time. We said good bye and headed home. I slept in the van the whole way and then for a long time after we got home.

I woke up and started playing with my reflection in the mirror. I didn't know Mommy was sitting behind me and surprised me. I gave her the biggest smile when I saw her. She brought me inside and we started to play. Soon after, Daddy woke up from his nap (since he had worked all night) and I got to play with him. I feel like I haven't really spent any time with him recently. All three of us got back in the van to go to PNC bank where Mommy and Daddy tried to work out some financial stuff with the banker lady. It was boring so I walked around the office seeing what I could get into. I did like the banker lady Ms. Beth though. She was super nice.

Then we went back home and Daddy and I made up for not spending too much time together recently while Mommy was out at water aerobics. We bonded. But I was really tired and so he put me to bed before Mommy got back home. I'll see her tomorrow.
