Dec 31 - I was really happy to see Mommy this morning when I woke up. She told me that she missed me last night. I missed her too. With a hug and a big kiss we started our day.
Today is New Year's Eve which means that today is the last day of 2010. It was a good year, I think, even though I don't have anything to compare it to being that it was my first year. I have been to three weddings, a bunch of birthday parties, and experienced a bunch of holidays for the first time. I have also been to a few funerals to celebrate the lives of some good people. I have learned so many things in less than 11 months. I can remember when I couldn't even lift my head up. Now I am walking. I remember when I slept with Mommy on the couch because I didn't like the crib. Now I sleep in my crib all night and during my naps. I remember when Salem looked like he could eat me he was so big. Now I lay on top of him! It has been a great year and Mommy tells me that there are more great things to come and much more to discover in 2011.
Mommy, Daddy, and I spent the day in. They had a lot of packing and planning to do since they have the Winter Classic tomorrow. They are going to drive up to Pittsburgh and back in the same day and I am going to have my first sleep over ever with Aidan and Gavin. I was supposed to be dropped off tonight so that I could sleep in when Mommy and Daddy wake up really early tomorrow to drive up to the game but the game time got pushed back due to the weather so I got to ring in the new year with Mommy and Daddy...well, sorta. I was in bed at 10pm so I didn't make it to midnight. Its ok. I got the gist. Happy New Year.
