All better

Jan 11 - This morning Mommy had to wake me and we did the mad dash to get ready for story time. Quickly, we ate and dressed and made it just in time. Story time was fun. We learned about arctic animals including polar bears and penguins. Mommy dressed me in an outfit that had three penguins on it for that very reason. Sam and his mommy had been sick and Caylee and her mommy were afraid it might snow so it was just Noah and me hanging out after story time. I also played with a little boy named Joseph. Mommy knew Joseph's mommy because she used to work at the ultrasound place that Mommy went to when she was pregnant and found out that I was a little boy. I played on the bookshelves as Joseph and his mommy looked for books. I also played on the bean bag chairs. Mommy also let me play on one of the computers for a minute but that didn't last long.

We checked out some books and then left the library. Mommy decided to pay a visit to the Harrington House. We surprised them when we got there. Chachi and Aunt Lynn had just made Aidan and Gavin some breakfast. Aunt Lynn said she was feeling better after having the stomach bug. I played with the boys for a while. I tried crawling up the stairs and went half way up and then started to come down a few backwards like I am supposed to. It was time to get going for my doctor's appointment so we gave hugs and kisses to everyone and left.

We got to the doctor's appointment and were brought back to the exam room pretty quickly. But once there, it was a long wait to see the doctor. So Mommy fed me puffs and then let me play. I had the best time with the little step stool. I walked that thing all over the room and loved the scrapping sound as I pushed it across the floor.

The doctor finally came in. We saw Dr. Ramachandran. She checked my ears and told me that my ear infection is all gone and I have a clean bill of health. After a discussion about my weight and a completely naked and cold ride on the scale I turned out to be 17lbs 8oz. The doctor said that coming up on my first birthday I should be close to 22lbs! No way! Silly doctors.

We went home and played. Then Daddy got home. I got to spend a lot of time with him since I didn't see him yesterday. We are best buds and had a good time while Mommy went to water aerobics. When she got home though we ate and got dressed for bed.
