Maybe not all better

Jan 12 - This morning I woke up around 8:30am. It wasn't long before Ms. Bridget got here. Mommy was in the midst of a very icky diaper change when we heard the dogs bark at Ms. Bridget. As always, we were very excited to see each other. I showed her that I am getting better and stronger at walking and she gave me big hugs. Mommy sat me in my highchair and started to feed me breakfast. I ate all my pear & oatmeal, like always, but after a few bites of my apple, banana and mixed cereal I started to shake my head no. Mommy asked what was wrong and then she got her answer as I threw up everything I had just eaten. The bib caught everything so it wasn't messy but Mommy wasn't expecting that!

I still was fine though so we just continued the day as normal. I took my nap. Then we went to group. Ms. Betty hadn't seen me in so long and was thrilled with how good I am walking now. I weighed in at 17lbs 5oz. I got to play with Eleanor & Violet. I have missed group.

After group we came home and Daddy's was asleep. He had to sleep now because he had to be back at work at midnight. Mommy and I played in the family room then went into my room. She has been thinking about invitations for my party and needs a current picture of me so she started clicking away. She also put me in my Caps 12 month old shirt in case it was in the picture since it was for my 1 year birthday. She finally settled on one but I have to say I didn't make it easy on her and she is still getting used to her new camera.

I also have been showing Mommy my climbing abilities. Yesterday I used Mommy's knee as a boost to get up on the couch at Grandma and Chachi's house. This morning I climbed up on the green rubbermaid box in the family room. And then this evening I climbed up the ottoman and almost up into my glider. Mommy is going to have to watch out for me!

When it was time to eat dinner I didn't want any of the usual baby food. I kept telling Mommy no. So she found something I would eat. She gave me shredded cheese, pieces of turkey lunchmeat and rolls. I had my own turkey and cheese sandwiches.

Then it was bath time with Mommy. I was getting really tired and crashed around 9:30pm. I didn't get to say goodnight to Daddy but I will tomorrow.
