11 months old

Jan 5 - This morning Mommy and I took it easy. We just relaxed for a few hours, watched tv, and played together. Daddy sent Mommy a text message that said "Happy 11 month, Nicholas." We sent him back a picture of me smiling. Around 10:30am, Mommy put me in my crib for a nap. It was a little eariler than I had been napping but she was trying to get me to sleep then so that I would be awake for our playdate at 1:30pm. I slept til about noon which Mommy thought was perfect timing. She got us ready and we went down to the library.

Group was canceled today for some reason. I really wish it wasn't because it has now been three weeks that we haven't been to group and I miss Ms. Betty. But we should see her next week hopefully. Instead of group, Mommy and Ms. Tara decided to meet at the library. Other moms from group were invited too and Ms. Erin wanted to come. So James, Sam and I got to play together just like old times. They are my oldest friends. Just look how much we have grown since one of the first times meeting.

Mommy brought some of my toys to share and overall I did ok with letting them play with them. We also played on the busy box. And I found my fish covered window again. I even showed James my little secret window. He liked it too. Oh, and I learned that if you take the toy keys and bang them against the fish covered window that it causes a loud sound and everyone sitting and working below look up at you. Mommy was not thrilled and took me away from the window. I was just saying hi.

We said goodbye and headed back home. We played for a little bit. I watched Mommy start dinner. She was making chicken and dumplings. I got really interested in her picking the chicken. I kept reaching out and really wanted some. I started to get fussy and told Mommy I was sleepy. She put me in my crib and I slept for about 30mins. When I woke Mommy played with me in the hallway. We had a lot of fun with my lion and my beach ball.

Then it was dinner time. I got a little messy so we went straight from feeding time to bath time. Mommy usually waits for Daddy to do bath time so he can read me a story but he was at school. After I got out of the tub and was on the changing table to get lotioned and dressed, Daddy got home. He said hello and kissed me on my forehead. Then when and showered. Mommy read me a story called "Don't Forget I Love You" in my bedroom. Then I got to play a little with Daddy. They ate dinner while I played on the floor with my toys. I went to bed at 9:40pm.
