Best snow day ever

Jan 27 - This morning I woke up a little early and was playing with my remote. Mommy came and got me and we went out to the family room. We did our regular morning routine. Daddy came out of the bedroom soon after. I didn't know he was here?!? Yay! Since it had snowed the snow plows pushed a wall of snow at the end of the driveway and Daddy couldn't get out to get to work on time so he decided to stay home and play with me. Mommy said that we would all go outside and play in the snow later after it got a little warmer.

I took a nap before we went out. While I slept Mommy and Daddy shoveled the driveway real quick (don't worry, they had the baby monitor with them). When I woke up I was ready to eat and then we started to head outside. Wow, do you need to wear lots of clothes when going out in the snow. I didn't like that part. I didn't feel like I could move. I had to wear a couple layers of pants because I don't have snow pants. I have a good winter jacket to keep me warm and a hat for my head. Mommy couldn't find my hands in the jacket so she put the mittens around my hands and over the jacket. We went out back and sat in the snow and Daddy and Mommy started to build me a snow man. I watched them build it and watched the dogs run around and watched the birds fly over head. I didn't really touch the snow that much; I didn't really know what to think of it but I still had a good time.

Once they were done with the snowman I stood up next to him and he was about as tall as I am. Before we headed inside to get warm, Daddy picked up the snowman and Mommy picked me up and we walked to the front of the house. Daddy said he wanted to put our snowman on the stump at the end of the driveway for everyone to see. Then Mommy had Daddy and I take a picture next to it. My butt was wet and cold. I was done.

We got back inside and Mommy put me in new, dry clothes. We then all hung out in my room for a while as Daddy and Mommy lowered my crib mattress and I pulled all the diapers out of the diaper stacker. We moved out to the family room. Then Mommy and Daddy played Donkey Kong together until she had to leave for water aerobics. Daddy continued to play for a while and I watched and played with my toys. Then he sat me in my highchair and I ate.

Mommy got home and put me to bed around 9pm. Today was a good family day.
