Vet visit for the doggies

Jan 31 - This morning when I woke up Mommy told me that Apollo is not feeling well. She called the vet and got and appointment for him. Mommy said that she was up almost all night with Apollo because he hurt his hip somehow and was whining in pain. We had breakfast and waited for the 11:30 appointment. Osiris came with us because he needed to get his shots. So Mommy, Daddy, Apollo, Osiris and I hopped int he van and went to the doggie doctor.

The dogs were so scared in the van. We got to the vet and first Daddy had both the dogs get on the scale. Then we all went into the exam room. It wasn't so different from when I go to the doctor except their exam table doesn't have the cool tissue paper on it. Osiris got checked first. He is all healthy. Then Apollo got taken out of the room so Osiris wouldn't get too excited. While we waited for Apollo to return Mommy let me down on the floor to bang on the door. Apollo came back and the doctor gave Mommy some pills to help with the pain and said that the pills will help while the pulled muscle heals. Apollo got his shots too.

Daddy felt bad for the doggies and since it was always a tradition to get McDonald's after my doctor's appointments he suggested we go today. We drove over and Daddy went inside as Mommy, the dogs, and I waited in the car. I love riding in the van. I am up higher and just love starring out the window. We got home and I ate my chicken nuggests and had a few fried. The doggies ate their fries and then it was time for a nap. Daddy went to school so he was already gone when I woke up.

The rest of the evening we stayed home and played. Poor Apollo just laid on the floor for most of the evening. We had a good time and I was happy to see Daddy when he got home from school. We played and ate until it was time to go to bed.
