Feb 4 - After our fun adventure in the tow truck yesterday and Mommy's car breaking down we had to take the van to run the few errands that Mommy had. So after breakfast we got dressed and started moving. We went to the party store and Giant to get the last few things that we needed for the party. Then we went to Bowie to go to Michael's. We only needed one more box of those paper bag puppets you saw in the picture yesterday and one more greeting card kits. Wouldn't you know it, they were out of the paper bag puppets! So Mommy asked a lady that worked there and she said that the Waldorf store had four boxes. They called up to the Waldorf store and asked them to put one aside for us. So back in the van and up 301 we went. I fell asleep in the car on the way there. It was a quick run in since they had the box of puppets behind the counter for us waiting. Then a quick stop at Target and back home.
Now that Mommy had everything it was time to get everything together. Daddy got home and started on the ham right away. He put a huge chunk out for the "display ham" then sliced the rest. He put the display ham face down on a plate filled with green food coloring. Then he injected it with more food coloring. He was having fun. Then he filled the crock pot with all the sliced ham and put food coloring in with that too. The ham looked gross and delicious at the same time.
Mommy was also playing with food coloring. She was dying the cauliflower for the truffula trees. She made pink, green, yellow, purple, and orange. Then I played with Daddy while Mommy baked the cakes for my Hat cake. They looked so yummy I could hardly wait. I went to bed around 9pm. Mommy wanted to make sure I got a goodnight sleep for all the excitement tomorrow. Good night!
