Jan 30 - This morning Mommy came and got me from my crib. After breakfast, Mommy got me dressed. She put me in this shirt and pants moose outfit. Since this was the first time I wore this outfit Mommy pointed out the moose on the shirt. Then she handed me the moose from my bookcase that wears a Canada shirt. Daddy bought that moose when he and Mommy took the train to Montreal when Mommy was pregnant with me. The moose was soft and fluffy. I loved him. I hugged him and rolled around on the floor with him. I even tried to pick him up and carry him around. Then Mommy made me laugh as she threw the moose at me. I giggled every time.
Mommy put me down for my nap around 1pm. While I was napping Mommy left to run some errands. I woke up and played with my Elmo remote and Daddy came and got me. I just played with my toys until Mommy returned. She had gone to Michael's and to Border's for stuff for my party. She is really going all out for stuff for me and its only a week away.
Mommy and I had lunch and played while Daddy napped on the couch. Daddy hasn't been sleeping well. Mommy let me try bread with jelly on it but I wasn't that interested in that. I also had my chicken fries but I haven't been eating a lot of real food recently. I love my cheerios snack mix and will eat a bunch of snacks during the day but when it comes to meals I just haven't been that interested.
Mommy had recently gotten me a new toy for the bathtub while we were at Walmart. It is this blue star that sucks the bath water up from underneath and squirts it up through its nose. It squirted me in the face. I liked that new toy but I don't like it squirting me. While I was in the tub Salem came in the bathroom. Daddy thought it would be funny to tease the cat by holding him over the bath tub and threatening to toss him in with me. Salem didn't think it was that funny.
When Mommy got me dried off and lotioned up Daddy watched me play peek-a-boo with her. He thought it was funny too. He got a good video of us playing. After a little more play and a fun search for what I did with my Elmo remote I got ready for bed. (Just between us: I put my remote in the pantry and then shut the door. Shh! Don't tell Mommy. I bet she looked for that remote for almost an hour after I went to bed. Hehe.) Daddy gave me my Happy Bear to play with til I fell asleep.
